At JF3, Adrie Basuki presented “TRANSFORMA,” a collection centered on transformation, circular fashion, and Indonesian textile heritage. Continuing his commitment to recycled fabrics and Indonesian wastra, the collection features his signature Marble Fabric, created by transforming textile waste into new materials with distinctive marble-like patterns. The collection also includes a collaboration with Batik Sadabhumi, whose motifs draw inspiration from the strength of cancer fighters and survivors, reflecting a message of transforming vulnerability into hope and resilience.

The 24-look collection combines Marble Fabric, hand-stamped batik, and modern denim into comfortable, versatile silhouettes designed for active, young-spirited women and men. Even production scraps are transformed back into new Marble Fabric, reinforcing the circular approach. Through layering and easy-to-move designs, TRANSFORMA carries a broader message of adapting positively to change. Adrie Basuki hopes the collection will bring circular fashion closer to Indonesian fashion audiences and position handmade recycled Marble Fabric as a distinctive Indonesian textile with potential for wider recognition in the global fashion industry.
