Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel collaborated with fashion designer Adrie Basuki and Yayasan AL-Asyirah Jakarta to present “ZERO WASTE ATELIER: Crafting with Adrie Basuki,” a creative workshop focused on sustainability and responsible textile waste management. Participants learned the marble painting technique, using textile scraps as the main medium to create unique, non-repeating marble patterns. The process encouraged creativity, patience, precision, and experimentation while introducing sustainable practices in textile art.

Beyond an artistic activity, the workshop encouraged participants to see textile waste as the beginning of new creative possibilities rather than the end of a cycle. Through this initiative, the organizers aimed to raise environmental awareness, particularly among younger generations, and demonstrate how creativity can become a meaningful part of building a more responsible and sustainable future.
